Hi..i use this for my snakes and i love it...but i tried once to use it for my bombinas and it was a disaster. They were always covered with it, it was such a mess and they seemed to hate it so much i took it off.
But i´ve heard of ppl using it succesfully for their salamanders/newts.
How do you do it???? Do your animals also get complete covered with it but they just don´t mind?? or is there any way to prepare the bedding that prevents it from getting stuck on your creatures???
I´m curious cause i love it as a substrate, just can´t find a way to use it in wet conditions.

I think the trick is to soak it real well and then pat it down firmly. I use it with some ensicauda popei morphs and they are fine and clean.
