pale gills , body colour change SICK ??
Hi guys, my 4 year old Leucistic ( pinky colour ) male Axi , has gone almost transparent white as have his gills? , I appreciate when he is inactive his gills are pale as he has a lesser blood flow but he has been like this for 24 hrs or so , his tank mate is fine with no changes to her !
I noticed yesterday he had what looked like blood on his head above his eyes beneath both gills as if the colour had fallen off his gills and onto his head , as he moved it fell off ???
should I be concerned ? the water in his tank is nice and cold, they have a diet of earthworms bred for feeding , could he be anaemic ?
