Illness/Sickness: Sick Axolotl

My axolotl stays on his back all the time. Once in awhile he tries to swim, it looks like or maybe he's trying to turn over but can't. He's only around 2 inches long and has been that length for 6-7 months. He has no trouble with constipation because we feed him small pieces of krill and it keeps him cleaned out so it's not air bubbles or anything due to constipation. He just simply can't or doesn't turn over and I'm worried about him. Should I be?

Ive never seen an axie on his back :/ and you say hes been 2" for 7 months? Im afraid it doesnt sound normal to me.
Have you tried feeding other things such as bloodworm or daphnia?
