At first, excuse my English, I´m a Spanish guy.
I have a problem with my big female of Megophrys nasuta, it´s sick. Until recently it has small sores all over its back and on the legs. By giving it baths of a mixture of ******l Betadine (it´s more sure than normal Betadine) and spring water (until the water has the color of the light brown tea) the sores have been disappeared.
But it has already a strange white bag leaving the lower eyelid. It seems to be an edema.
¿What is this bag? ¿How to cure it?

Thank you very much

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
