I have become interested in Lesser and Greater Sirens from a picture in a Virginia wildlife magazine that I saw years ago. I want to start an amphibian tank featuring these animals. Have any members caught Lesser Sirens in Southeast Virginia? I live in Isle of Wight county. I am not far from the Great Dismal Swamp wildlife refuge, but cannot collect specimens within the actual bounds of that preserve. Any feedback is appreciated!

I believe they do best when kept singly. If more than one are kept together, they need a very large tank with lots of hides.
