I bought some gravel for my tank ysterday and wanted to make sure it is the right size.... It is about 2-3mm in size per grain.... prolly bout 3x size of sand....
I looked at the sand and didnt like it much ( and it was expensive) and i talked to a lady who i know and we discussed the gravels....... We decided on this one as it is sorta local ( canarvon river sand which is slightly larger than sand) very stream coloured and only $19.95 for a 10 kilo bag. only disadvantage to it was it wasnt washed so i had to do this repeatedly and are still waiting for the tank to clear...
Yes. I have already put it in, and the axies seem to love it.. I believe the size to be fine, just wanted opinions... I had bare floor for 2 years and honestly hate it......
