Skin change (and change?)

Hiya!
Maybe this is a natural fact, i've got an orientalis, the past Saturday I've found a skin in a plant, I know newts change their skin. Today I've found another skin attached to the plants, and I only have one newt! Two changes in three days? I believed this happens every 3 or 4 months. What's going on??

no they shed just about every 3 days, some newts it may be a week-but that is about right.

good! that's a lot of energy waste producing skin, now I understand why they eat like pigs
