Illness/Sickness: Skin peeling, stress maybe?

I have been changing her water everyday and all the white stuff has come off completely. By gills falling out, I meant the fluffy parts of an axi's gills, but thank fully they've stopped coming off. Now the only problem I have is getting her to eat again while the tank puts itself back to rights!

Hey, just a little thing i picked up from the posts, you say youve had your lottle in the tank for 5 months but its still cycling, this seems like an extraordinary long amount of time.
To make things easier for you and your lottle id leave her in the tub and do a fishless cycle to get everything sorted quicker
All youd need to do is keep the filter ect running and add a daily ammonia source, it shouldnt take that long if your tank is already starting the cycling as shes been in there 5 months.

Glad to hear the gill filaments have stopped falling off. Hopefully he will start eating again soon. Keep us posted on how he is doing!
