Skinny possibly straving axie help please?

Hi guys
Iv had an axie before but unfortunatly he died I have recently bought a new one but on getting him home he looks very skinny possibly starving.I have axie pellets and blood worm and was wondering what the best way to feed him would be?dont want to give him to much incase it makes him poorly any ideas would be great.also his fluffy things around his gills looks small compared to the pictures on here

I named him Earl cause his head looks the same as the dinosaur of disneys film Dinosaur.

Try small living food, such as chopped earthworms and waxworms. These are very nutritious and will help him put on weight faster.

Do you have a picture of him? That makes it easier to be specific about how much food how often.

My axie that has been sick was getting really thin. I'd make sure you offer a range of foods and see that he doesn't bring it back up
