Hey so recently when looking in my tank I just noticed a small looking snail crawling up the side of my tank. From what I’ve read these seem find but some say they can be harmful or cause impaction. I’ve attached some pictures of the snail and any help would be appreciated thank you!

How big are they roughly because if they can fit in your axolotls mouth and are big enough to be a problem try removing them. If not they are fine (my opinion).
There are some snails in my axolotl tank and they have not caused any harm.
If you don't want the snails put any alive plants in 1 part bleach 10 parts water for a couple of hours and then all the eggs should die. If you put it back in the alive snails could make more eggs so by any way (without chemicals) then they should all be dead. Before putting the plants back in the tank make sure the bleach is off.

Pond snail. Snail eggs and small snails show up on plants, etc. all of the time.

I know this may be unpopular, but I have ramshorn snails in with my alpine newts and have never had an issue.
