I'm up in the air on whether or not to try and feed small aquatic snails to my kaiseri. Not sure they will eat them, or if they do will they get blocked intestines. Anyone tried, or currently feeding snails to them? I have a supply from one of my 10 gallons that could use feeding off...

I had my adults in a snail heavy aquarium for quite a while, it didn't seem to do them any harm, I don't think they took any notice of the snails though. It could be they were too well fed on other things, or that the snails are too slow moving, so they don't pay attention to them.
If you have a tropical fish tank, drop the snails into that, fish such as clown loaches will take care of them.

Have seen my verrucosus eat them.

I have some small turbinate snails in my kaiseri set-up and the population remains very low (though I do see egg masses on the glass from time to time). If the kaiseri weren't eating them, the snails would quickly have over-ridden the tank.

I recently had about 30 tiny unidentified tiny (2-3mm) snails hitch a ride into my tank on some anubis and duckweed plants.. my 3 juvi kaiseri decimated them in about 3 days. No impaction this time, but I don't intend on offering them snails on purpose again just to be safe! I stick with live blackworms, live whiteworms, live shrimp.
