I'm planning my first axolotl but currently have some adult mystery snails and a blue three spot gourami. She's quite big around 4 inches and the snails are about two inches. Will the axolotl eat the snails and gourami? I don't have a problem with removing the fish and snails once I get my axolotl.

Yes, it is a definite possibility. However, the snails could maybe harm the axi if it tries to it them. So I would remove both. The fish could get eaten and it is generally a bad idea to have fish and axis in the same tank.

Seth is on the money here. No responsible axolotl keeper should have any other species sharing a tank with an axolotl, period. It's dangerous for either side, and usually ends badly.

Alright. I'll move the fish and snails to the other tank. I was kinda hoping the axololti would eat the snails lol. They bred and I got stuck with a bunch and my fish won't eat them.
