Strangest thing.?

I had this Axilotl that passed sometime back and this actually came out of him is anybody have a clue what it was?

it looks like some sort of fungus. i have no idea what it is..... what are your water perameters?

In the water parameters were normal I had 140 gallon tank at five Axelotl’s. The problem was just localized this one. What is the weirdest thing because I just came out in the morning he’s dead laying on the bottom. So I took him out and put them in a container and try to see if there’s anything you notice I may have caused it. I had I’m floating on the top of the tank I guess the entire day. Because the tank was cool and I do live in Hawaii. And then I noticed is hanging out of him. Very healthy otherwise to years old

my female melanoid had a similar experience and died sadly from it. I decided to disect her for school reasons once she was dead for over 2 days. we found a weird fungus thing near her cloaca. still don't know what it is.

that almost looks like a flower with long stamens - weird stuff - was it moving?
