If I was an axolotl, I'd want to live with you! :D

I think there are few things these days that make me squeak with glee as much as new photos of your 'Lotls. Truly gorgeous animals!

I just got 40 GFP axolotls not in the best condition, gills are very short with damaged legs and tails any advise on how to make them more alive then ever before just like your axies?

There are two batches one born in November 2012 ( 3 inches) one born in January 2013 (1.5 inches) they are now being fed on black worms and carnivore pellets, guy said he didn't feed so often they were kept on black worms, any chance i can make them look just as beautiful as yours?.

is there something in the water over in china? because all of your lotls have big flowing gills.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
