Spiders?

I found my frogs, toads and anoles loved spiders when ever I could provide any.
Any problem in feeding them to FB newts?
Will the newts hunt them on a floating piece of driftwood or if they are in the water?
Opinions out there?

Salamanders do commonly eat spiders in the wild, so I suspect they would be fine for your FBN. Feeding them to an aquatic animal could be difficult though.
