I recently, accidentally became the steward of a western red-backed salamander. I have him in a homemade, bioactive vivarium. My question is do I need to provide a water dish. I read on caudata culture that this type of terrestrial salamander does not need standing water of any kind. I just want to verify if that includes a drinking dish.
Link below is where I received my information. Granted this is for the eastern red-backed. I could not find sufficient information on the western red-backed.
