Stimulating tank

I have a young axie- a few months old. I'm curious if it's better to have more things in the tank than less.. I know that walking space is important because they like to explore. I have a 10gal w two small plants, a ceramic cave, a terra cotta pot, and some micro moss balls. Should it be like 50\50 walking space to decor or..

I don't think there's really a rule. I have about half somewhat covered (hides, plants, decor) and the front half of the tank open for swimming around. If the tank is dark most of the time you can have more open areas but if there is a light or room lights on daily I would have at least half the tank with hides or decorations.
I also like to do a monthly aquascape change so they can have fun exploring the tank, not sure if they actually care but I enjoy it haha
