Strange Coloured/Patterned Melanoid- Axanthic? Copper?

Hello!

I've got a really neat Melanoid juvenile that I was hoping someone could help me figure out what is going on genotype/phenotype wise or tell me if it's a standard melanoid or Axanthic, or Copper mix etc (assuming that's even possible?)

I wasn't sure it was as strange as I thought until the new addition was moved into the main tank where I used Fluval planted + LED lighting.

The male/Dad was a melanoid and the female/Mom was a leucistic. Siblings to my juvie were Melanoids, Wildtypes, Leucistics, Albino and Golden Albino

I've put in as many photos as I could, the colour in the photos is accurate to his real colour.

He's still healing up some transport injuries but otherwise is in good overall health.

Forgot to mention- my Axolotls mum had no rings in her eyes that I could see (they looked pitch black) and no freckling at all. she may have been a white melanoid/melanoid Leucistic?

I'm really no expert but I would think melanoid axanthic, since it's more of a blueish grey...

Ya that's what I'm going with now, got a PM that confirms too. It explains why so many in his clutch were expressing their colours differently than I'd seen before.

Either way I'm happy to have him/her. Still got lots of good grow out time yet, I'm excited to see how the colour and skin texture continues to develop.

The attached photo is of his sister- an 18 month Golden Albino (f) and she is the lightest one I've even seen. Lots of defects in their clutches and lots of healthy animals with odd muted colours, wilds that looked like coppers etc.

I'll have to watch them and watch any future offspring and see what happens.
