Hello Everyone,

I have noticed that my smaller axi Hermes gills seem to be curling forward a bit. I have read that this could be a sign of stress. The other axi in there is a bit bigger and she seems to be fine. He does move around and eat, water quality checks out and they just seem to be going more forward. I have seen her nip at him once or twice but nothing is missing could she be stressing him out? Also maybe I am just over reacting.

I am including pictures to show how they are.

Do these seem ok? Also I have more pictures that show more of a curl on my phone.

Thanks in advance.

They look okay to me :) How much of a current is there in the tank?

Thanks. I don't believe there is much current. we have a diffuser set up underneath the filter. The other axi seems to be fine. I notice they go from about this to just straight up to maybe a little more forward. Being that these are my first I am all paranoid.

Always good to be cautious! Unless they curve around more I wouldn't worry
