So i added some shrimp to my 20 gallon axolotl tank. The shrimp (5 ghost 2 cherry) have been in there for a little over an hour and by axolotl has been a little stressed. The water parameters are all good and the temperature is at 64F. Everytime one of the shrimp passes him he either tries to eat them( the main reason i added them so that's not concerning) or he freaks out and swims off. He is about 5 inches long and is able to eat them if he tried a bit harder but im worried that he'll get too stressed. Should i leave the shrimp in their so he can just get used to them or should i take them out. I have a ten gallon that i can but all the shrimp in (i have 16 in total) and a lot of extra java moss and duck weed for them to eat and hide in too. Please help.
