Just went herping today with a good friend of mine and we found some fun stuff. It had been raining off and on throughout the day. We are in a bit of a drought here (5-7" short of rainfall for this time of the year), so the rain was welcomed. My friend an I found numerous green, norther leopard, and bull frogs. we also heard some gray tree frods and found a few spring peepers. Came across a real colorful male box turtle, 4 or 5 garter snakes, and a brown snake. We also came across a few ticks. Overall it turned out to be a pretty good day for not expecting to find anything.
