Hi everyone,

Just slightly curious, I haven't heard of this happening before and I can't find anything on this happening but here we go.

I have been noticing that my T.cf.kweichowensis have been joining up, this is more so in my Male and i was wondering, could this even happen? I will try to get a photo up but all their warts are getting the orange coloration in the gaps between each dot, which is making them look like true Kweichowensis... Which has got to be impossible surely!

As I said, I will get a photo up for you too see but for the mean time, any info on this actually being possible would be great! :)

Thanks

TG

I'm experiencing the same thing here. I've allready posted a pic with all our females laying on eachother near the edge of the water. The male joined them shortly after he fully recovered from his infection.
When they temporarily become more aquatic the orange colours turn bright. I haven't succeeded in breeding them, but these are good sighns if you ask me. Here the females are more gravid than usual. Yours as well?

Well for my female when I put them in a glass tank for a swim she got brighter which was beautiful colours but my male didn't get brighter, his colours went a gorgeous Deep Brown/Blood Orange and it was amazing!
So do you think that maybe being more Aquatic changes these colours? Well with mine they are becoming more and more like true Kweichowensis with stripes... It can't be Morphological as they are both large and look about 4 years old roughly. My female is still Large at the moment so I'm hoping he laid Spermatophores and shes taken them..
