I know I haven't been active in a long time but nothing new has really been happening. Until now. I have had a hunch that my female t. verr. was gravid for quite some time now. I used water level and temperature changes along with light cycles to stimulate breeding starting last fall and my work paid off! My t. verr. are three years old I believe with the female being around six inches and the male around five inches. I have many many eggs and she still looks very fat so who knows if she's done or not. I have them in a ten gallon tank with tons of java moss and island made from flower pots and slate. I think I'll just replace the java moss with some other moss I have and replace the slate covered in java moss. I also plan on collecting pond water and raising the eggs in a 20 gallon long tank with pond water since I dont have black worms and would rather not purchase them. What do you experienced tylo keepers think??
