Tadpole advise

We use to raise many Bufo viridis tadpoles every year. Unfortunately there are always a few getting the "spinning round" illness. They move only in rings and don´t get enough food. Is there anybody who knows the reason?

Wow! I just noticed that same thing yesterday in my pond. I didn't think it could be an illness, I thought their ammonia might be a little high, or the temperatures a little high.
