Tank cooling

Maybe this is an obvious question to someone:

I am using a computer fan to cool my 10 gallon tank and it helps a lot. It keeps the normally 72/74 a 67/68. (I know this is still high but it is the coolest I can get it) I was just wondering if I got a bigger tank size like a 20 long, would the temperature stay the same?
Will the evaporation rate stay the same or not because there is more surface area and more water? :wacko:

PleaseHi i think you should get a 20 gallon. That is my next upgrade to. I just can't find a stand i like yet. But i think it will just take longer to heat up in the morning cool at night. I have a 5 gallon in bedroom its cooler than my 10 gallon. I keep my room cold blinds are always shut i keep C Orientals in there. Depending on what you have newt axolotl extra. You might need to turn ac down or get a cooler. I lived in Florida outside of tampa got over 100f and humidity could be in the 90s . You could look for some peninsula newts they can take higher temps. Or you could try to Google it. I have seen some crazy ideas on how to cool aquarium . One with car windshield sun viziers. :blob:

I had a 55 gallon and switched to a 75 gallon and the new aquarium doesn't seem to keep cool as long as I would like. It also needs more to be cooled down.

Thanks! I will upgrade if I ever have enough money to maintain cooling for a larger tank.
