Tank mistake!

I don't really know what to do. I bought an 18x12x12 tank, thinking that would be fine for one axolotl, but now I've been advised that it's way too small. I can't really return it since the shop ordered it in specially for me (or can you in this instance? It's all paid for by me, anyway) so what options do I have?

Sorry for the dumb question - the last time I had a tank I was a teenager, so I have no idea about etiquette when it comes to supporting your local aquatics shop!

Unfortunately, the only way to find out if you can return it is to contact the store! I'm sure they'll be understanding, it happens.

And if you're planning to spend more money buying a bigger tank at their store they'll probably be happy with that...

Ok, stupid panic over, I spoke to the dude and I think he's ordering me the bigger one instead! Now just to cycle the damn thing...
