How many eastern newts could I place in an aquarium that is 10 inches by 30 inches, 20 gallons? I'm just curious, although I don't own any myself.
 
<font color="ff6000">Sounds like a long. 30"x12"? I would say a trio or two. Maybe 3-6 with 4 females and 2 males. These are small newts and 30" is ample space.</font>
 
Thanks! The aquarium is literally 10 by 30 inches, so it's going to be difficult to find a wire cage top.
