Hello! I'm looking to upgrade my axolotl's tank sometime in the near future. I'd like to get a 2nd axolotl as well, so I'm thinking a 30-35 gallon tank should be good for two, based on the research I've done. What brands carry a long fish tank in this size? I'm having trouble finding the correct size online anywhere, so knowing some brands would be helpful. I'd love to know what brands anyone uses for two axies. Thanks for any tips and info!

I believe that you can go onto Amazon and search for "30 Gallon SeaClear Acrylic aquarium", although it is more expensive than buying one at a pet store. I think just a local PetSmart/Petco should have tanks that are less expensive than online tanks. But SeaClear Acrylic makes fish tanks at that size.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
