Tank while cycling?

So I have had a tank up and running for about two weeks...its still cycling. I do water changes to keep the ammonia down below 1ppm.

Question is for a new baby (3 inches I think) would they be ok to survive in that with daily water changes (Plus I use Prime/Stability) or should I look into a tub for now for him?

He came earlier than I anticipated, lol I just wanna make sure he doesnt get ammonia burn

Avoid putting him into your tank until it is cycled, a temporary tub with daily water changes is the best idea
