Thanks to Grius, and a quick trip to the zoo to talk to the maintenance guys there (its like a secret society with us maintenance types...), I am now aware of Tapecrete.

This stuff is exactly what I need for the dozen or so horribly unfinished vivaria projects I have laying about.

I have one problem though-
Where can I get it? I found the manufacture's site, but I have no need for 500lbs worth...;)

Any of you folks know where this can be purchased from in the US: retail, online or the like? I tried MSC, Granger, and a bunch of the smaller industrial suppliers but most folks do not even know what I am talking about...the concrete suppliers around here are just as clueless.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I sent a few e-mails out to the manufacturer and a few companies that sell comparable products. Looks like I am most likely going to go with the polymer additive and use my own choice of concrete base material.
After speaking with a few other Zoo techs, turns out a lot of them go this route. I'll post up more information on this as I get it.

Hey I also sent out several emails about tapecrete with no responses. Let me know what you find. I would be interested in a safe substitute.
