Last week I obtained myself some Taricha rivularis.
These beauty's are hard to come by and after a long time of searching if got my hand on these, 2 males and 2 females. Yahooo!

Aren't these by far the most beautifull Taricha species of them all? :D
Have a look at my T. rivularis ....... :)

Wow. I envy you! Thses are by far my favorite newt, but their habitat is quite remote. did you collect these yourself? if so i commend you, they are hard lil buggers to catch :)

Hi,

I haven't caught these myself, a german friend did.
Since they live most of the year hidden, i can imagine that they would be hard to find! :)

These newts are very cool but they do hide alot.I used to keep them and found them to be very shy except for 1 that would enter water at times.I would give them a water area atleast 2 to 3 inches if you plan on attemped breeding.Good luck with them.
