Now that my newts are finally eating :D, I'm wondering how much and how often I should feed them. I've seen some places suggest twice a week, or once a day, but that's irrelevant without knowing the amount given.

How much food (in terms of nightcrawlers) should I give per newt and how often? Also, I find that my newts are willing to eat whole nightcrawlers. Is that okay (in the wild, they must be eating whole worms, right?) or should I stick with only chopped pieces?

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I couldn't decisively figure out how much to feed them.

You should be okay feeding one chopped night-crawler each two times a week (I fed my newts and salamanders on Mondays and Fridays) and you need to feed them a chopped night-crawler, because you need to make sure that they can actually swallow the food
