I was wondering if there were any research/articles/forums on tea baths for axolotls outside of when they are sick. As preventative or maintenance? Would it be beneficial to their health and happiness or should only be used when they are sick/injured?

black tea can be used as a water tannin, this is normally one bag per ten litres of water, it is questionable as to using tea leaves due to their caffeine content.
it is easy enough to make a tea using almond leaves which is more beneficial.

As preventative, a few dead oak leaves in the tank will provide some tannins without any known problematic substances.
