Going to make my first ever terrestrial set up for my new talpoideum and I am trying to figure out the best looking affordable set up I can for either a 10gal or 20gal long. Any ideas advice or tips?

For talpoideum, you can go with ether aquatic or terrestrial, which are you planning?

You'll see them more in a semi-aquatic setup. These guys come from swamps and they will even hang out in mud in captivity. I've heard of people successfully breeding these guys in captivity in a mostly aquatic setup. No mean feat.

For a simple terrestrial setup, I would use a 50/50 mix of coco-fiber and soil kept moist, with a layer of leaf litter, hides and a water bowl.

I know they can be kept aquatic but I have lots of aquatic tanks and I wanted something with land maybe semiaquatic then. I want it to look nice. Lots of moss and ferns. Its going to be set up in a 20gal long.
