Any quick and easy way to tell large neotenic A. tigrinum from wild-type A. mexicanum? Anything other than color?

Greg

I've read than tigrinum are supposed to have longer toes and a tail membrane that reaches the head, whereas the mexicanum only reaches the neck. I haven't tried this myself, though, so can't guarantee its reliability.
