The other day, I went to clean my salamanders tank, and realized his soil had gone bad. I told my mom I needed more soil, and she said "not now maybe tommorow" (typical responce). then the next day, I asked again, and she said the same, (by "tommorow" the soil was starting to stink and grow mold) so later that evening she was going to the store, and suprisingly she brought me back a bag of top soil. will this "top soil" be ok for his tank, or do I need to get a different bag of soil???
soil at my local walmart is 1$ for a 10 pound bag right now, so I can easily get some new soil.
