I had made a post previously for help moving my two axies separately over a mountain with sharp turns. I like the idea of putting them in bags and moving them that way, the only problem is the town in which I live right now does not have a pet shop.

Is there any other type of bag that would be safe to use that I could get at a Safeway, or Walmart?

If not, are there any other Ideas for safe travel?

I buy shipping bags from MVP on Aquabid.com. You'll probably have to buy more than you need, but they're pretty inexpensive. I think the 9x18" poly bags or bigger should be the best bet. 9x18 fits most adults if you lay the bag on its side- fill 2/3water 1/3 air and leave enough plastic at the top to tie it off. More room is always better, though. I would be hesitant to use the breather bags because of the axie's toenails. Hope that helps!
