My 2 month old gold axolotl got her leg bitten. The injury is ragged it was not a clean bite. I have isolated her and saw some faint hairs starting to form on the injured site. I do not feel comfortable with fridging but her hospital tank is at 56 degrees( tank she was in was at 68). She is on day 2 of salt baths for 15 minutes (solution is 2 tablespoons per gallon of water). I am making indian almond leaf extract to for a bath and I also have black tea that I could use. In my fish emergency kit do have some antibiotics on hand but I am not sure what would be best to use or dosage. She ate yesterday ( blackworms) but is showing no intrest this morning. I am very concerned please help.
