treatment for anchor worm in tadpoles

is the treatment for anchor worm with a caudate the acceptable for a tadpole?

What is "the treatment"? In general, yes, treatments for caudates and frogs are the same.

I bought the treatment but, never actually used it. I purchased some tadpoles in the past that had anchor worm and it affected all my livebearers in the tank. The tadpoles eventually died but my poor mollies had anchor worms hooked in their gills and eyes. I took each fish out of the water and layed it on a damp paper towel then heated up a pair of tweezers under some hot water and grabbed the anchor worm on the fish and pulled them off. I had to do this for a week until they finally all disappeared. I try to use chemicals as a last resort.

To the best of my knowledge anchorworms require an intermediate stage to infest so usually are only a problem in ponds(used to have alot in my pond, but apparently after the pond matured they dissapeared and I haven't seen any in years).

Their is a treatment for pond use only. Pulling them off works(apparently after the above post!) but is quite traumatic and I'm sure you'd kill just as many as you'd save that way. You'd have to make sure to remove the entire worm, mouthparts included so to prevent a secondary infection.
