Treefrogs vs dartfrogs

In expanding my horizons and also tearing down a tank layout that I had for a few years I decided tyo attempt to make a large display type paludarium. I made it in mind of terrestrial frogs, thus the small water section. This project is about a year old and I'm now ready for frogs. I'm considering either red-eyes or the Golfodulcean poison frog(Phyllobates vittatus), but am not completely decided.

I've laid out the pros and cons so far discovered.
RETF pros/cons
-nocturnal, and inactive during daytime(I've heard they wake up around 7 pm, which is not that bad considering I am away most of the day)
-arboreal
-need large prey
-will likely be less expensive
-beautiful creatures no doubt
-larger, so will produce more waste which may mean more substrate changes(I know in dart frog tanks it is customary to change substrate out every 2-3 years).

vittatus
-diurnal
-interesting behavior, loud musical call(calling is something that newts just don't do!)
-small
-mostly ground dwelling
-exhibits parental care
-fine with small prey like FF's baby roaches.

Old photo, has grown in quite a bit since this.

I'm assuming that they are both about the same difficult in care. I know RETF's prefer it a little warmer than the darts, which may cause trouble during the winter with nighttime temps near the 60's outside the viv.

I'm having a tough time deciding which one of these I would, on a day to day basis, enjoy observing the most. Anyone with experience with either, or better yet both I'd love to hear from you.
