Hi,
I've just fished up with the basic design of the Swedish Salamandrid Registry - a swedish version of the USCR(will register other caudates than salamandrids too).
There's nothing interesting up yet, no photos nothing - Just the basic design. I'd like some proofreading and general feedback though, there's almost nothing to read so it will only take a minute or two.....

I should say that the reason why I am posting here is that the site might be hosted by Caudata.org in the future(hopefully).

I've already told you that you can host it here if you want :p.

Would it make sense to make this registry a bit more broad (like Scandinavia, instead of just Sweden)? It seems to me that there may be only a few caudate enthusiasts in Sweden, and you probably already know each other!

Hehe, John. I know I can host it on caudata.org I just want to check so that everything works out the way I want it too. I'm also going to check out some database code to see if I get enthusiastic

To answer your question Jen - will do

Need to check that everything works first, database system will be needed. It's a lot of work as John pointed out, but Scandinavia shouldn't be a problem(Europe - now that is another thing). Actually I might do a french version too later on.... Maybe....

Hehe Dave, a great observation indeed!
Yes, I will have both Swedish and English versions. The english version will just be devoted to a couple of things like plants and water chemistry etc. The swedish site will contain basic caresheets for the most usual caudates and maybe a small forum eventually.
