Tylototriton kweichowensis eggs....again!

My Kweichowensis laid eggs a couple of months or so back but they didn't do any good, now another female has laid and all appear to be fertile!
Here's a few pics....(sorry if some are a bit out of focus)

The last time all were laid in the water, this lot however have been laid on moist land so i'm going to try both land and water for the eggs

Developments very fast with these eggs! but thats not so surprising considering the very hot weather here at the moment.

Lookin good Andy, can't wait for these buggers to hatch out...............I'm just as excited as you, but probably slightly less considering mine are still sitting in quarantine.

Good job Andy. Are you keeping the eggs on land? The last time mine laid I seemed to have better luck with the ones in water. I didn't have a huge success but managed to raise a handfull.

Mine look ready to lay so I'm bouncing their temperature around a little. That seemed to trigger them the last time. Their is a famous amphibian researcher that has done work for the B.B.C. and some outstanding field work visiting my home town. I'd like to get them to lay to show to him.

Hi Michael, i have a lot of these eggs on the cork as they were laid in lots of awkward nooks and crannies and i didn't want to damage them getting them out. The others eggs are sitting just at the waters surface on wet paper towels and due to hatch today or tomorrow!
Did you have any trouble with larva being unable to get out of the egg?....i've heard this can happen.
also, did you raise any morphs?

FYI too....these eggs were laid when the temp rose from 72 to 74 fahrenheit...

Andy, I just noticed your thread with the development photos. Very well done and congratulations mate!

I had the same thing with eggs in nooks and crannies. I wound up floating the cork bark in water and in some cases turning it upside down. I lost some larvae but don't think it was due to not being able to hatch. I had poor yields with kweichowensis last year and good results with verrocusus.
