My Tylototriton verrocusus started spawning like crazy this week. I pulled about 100 eggs and put new plants and mops in this afternoon. Their are eggs on the mops and plants allready. They are laying on plants, mops, under cork bark, and on top of cork bark. Not to many eggs are on land and I think this is best. These are the verrocusus I got from Brit. He was a real p.i.a. but I got some great animals from him and the rest of my money back.

That's awesome, i want to start breeding Tylototriton, there's something about them, they're just so cool, could you post some pics?

Things are hopping at the frog farm. I'm swamped with newts and salamanders. I have lots of hot jobs at the fire truck factory. When things slow down I'll play with my camera again.

I just saw this post. Congrats... you are certainly going to be VERY busy.

congrats Michael! Looks like alot of these will be running around this year too.

They are still plunking out a few eggs. The hatchlings are doing great.
A funny thing happened this week. About a half year ago I had a plastic tank crash to the floor and about a dozen Juvenile T. verrocusus dissapeared in my basement. This week I had quite a bit of water running through my basement due to all of the storms. 2 T. verrocusus came out from hiding on the floor and look fat and sassy. Who'd a thunk it.

Michael:

I take it you have a wet basement? And maybe a few bugs around as well?
