Uneaten live nightcrawlers

I have a tank of plants and 3 firebellies, and so the situation is: an uneaten worm seem to have escaped to d small gaps between d rocks.. i fear that it might eat my plants or should i stay calm and just wait for my newts to eat it?

Is this in an aquatic tank? If so, then you'll need to remove them as when they die, they will begin to foul the water. If it is a terrestrial set up, then the worms will be fine, they don't tend to eat healthy plants.

it is an aquatic tank...i see...i hope the plants would manage to cancel the fouling of the water... thanks!
