So I wanted to give an update on the baby axies I got not too long ago. They came to me with missing limbs and damaged gills.
I've managed to drop the temp down to 70 degrees and keep it steady. Once I get the vivarium completed with a real cooling system it should not get above 68 degrees.
Both axies have much fuller gills and they finally have itty bitty hands and feet. The wildtype is growing at a faster rate then my gold albino (they are hand fed and both eat well). Here is a comparison of my wildtype (it's really hard getting a good photo of the albino =/ )
The first photo is of the day I brought them home and the second photo was taken today.
