i was at a pet shop today and they suggest i try feeding my axalotl vegtables such as pea's. i tried this but my axalotl did not take to them. was the lady at the pet shop wrong? or is my axalotl simply not used to this form of food? has anyone else heard of feeding such things to axalotls?

Axolotls are carnivores, so they won't eat vegetables. Even if they ate it, they couldn't digest it, so it would just be a waste.
