last night I found a true orgy in my kitchen setup for Tylototriton verrucosus, as all three the males were chasing one female around the whole tank...so I was able to observe the entire courting behaviour...
I found that John's theory is right (congratulations John!eheheh) as one of the males grasped the female in a "pleurodeles-like" embrace to take her away from the rivals...then they started the circular dance described by John and in that moment I saw the spermatophore transfer on the bottom of the tank...
as usual, John was right...eheheh...(at least according to my verrucosus!)
