Hi there.
Ive decided to convert my 100L tank into a vertical vivarium for whistling tree frogs.
The tanks 90cmx35cmx35cm I think its what would be 20Gal in the USA.
This is my first build so it might not work haha and im just learning as I go.
Am using pretty standard stuff expanding foam, silicone, coir for background and Im going to try and make a water feature with a really small pump I got.
Im not entirely sure how to post photos hope this works.
this is the tank bare and clean(ish)

Sounds like a great project. I'll be following this for sure.

Thanks alot!
yea im pretty pleased with how its turning out. I was a bit scared as it is my first build but it seems to be pretty easy so far. hope it lasts!
Hers the tank with another layer of foam and some good bark I had stuck into the foam.

Heres some close ups of the water fall. just carved from foam and going to line with silicone. Used some 8mm hose for the uptake and a small piece to direct flow onto the wood part were it will run down. only have a small pump so it will be more of a water trickle than a waterfall. but thats what I wanted.

So this is where im upto at the moment. just siliconing coir onto the expanind foam. have placed a few pots for where I will be planting ferns ect later on. found some dark brown silicone which is good to use because even if i miss a bit with the coir it doesnt matter.

Have paintined the inside of the water fall with Acrylic and will coat in clear silicone when it is dry.
