Very bright orange/red gills, a little pale

Pictures included. His behavior seems pretty normal and he is eating but I've never seen his gills such a bright color. Should this be alarming? His water is pretty cloudy because his tank is cycling. :/

did you just feed him? usually it happen after you feed the axolotl it means there is blood in the gills

i wouldnt be worries if anything it shows good health

No I did not just feed him. Normally when I feed him his gills turn a deep red not a bright orange-red. He looks a little paler than usual too.

I just feel like something is wrong and I don't know what it is. This is definitely an unusual appearance for him.
