Hello, I come to you because my Axolotl has a health problem. For a few weeks, he has eaten well (he does not eat in excess), and his belly has become huge. His throat looks big too, and her anus looks weird. I put it in the fridge for two days but nothing changed. It seems to reject some light green substances. Can someone help me know what he has and what to do in this case?

Thanks, Paulo Loureiro

Unfortunately It looks to me like your axolotl has fluid retention. There isn't a lot you can do to help your axie except take him to the vet. The main cause of fluid retention is an infection/ failure of the kidney or liver. If you can, take him to an exotic vet as soon as possible. Until you get him to a vet keep him in a cool, dark area.
